Congratulations to Destiny who puts pen to paper for West Ham United Academy.
He has been with WO Sports since the aged of 3 yrs old with the development squad. At age 4 yrs old he started our evening programme whose dad never stayed to watch due to work commitments.
His speech was delayed as parents were worried but with the help of his peers he changed at aged 5 yrs old.
Dad got a job abroad to be able to support his family but I advised the dad to stay in UK and look after his son and he started showing more interest in his football and started watching him more.
Upon watching his first game for the development, he bursted into tears, He rejected the job and stayed in the UK. Few months after, West Ham came in to our soccer school which he invited and he’s been with the hammers since 5 yrs old.
At WO Sports our focus is development not quick fit and we help kids achieve their potentials through our training programmes.
Thanks to all the coaches who’s helped him throughout his time with us and he still attends our training to stay in touch with his mates.
