It was a big freeze on Saturday Morning coupled with bright sunshine. It was a good day for football and business as usual as both parents and players turned out in numbers for training. It was only the third training session of the year and new face joining up with the returning players as well. ages ranging from as young as 3 years old.
We are pleased to announce that our all our programmes will now be held at Leyton Sixth Form College which is leading sports college in the borough with great facilities.
our focus this year is passing with the emphasis on one touch finish. Last year, we focused on ball familiarisation and dribbling. As the kids are of mixed abilities and our aim is to encourage all kids both boys and girls to participate in active sport and improve their football skills.
That is why we based our model on ‘Games Based Learning Approach’. Which encourages all kids of all abilities and gender to develop and improve on their existing football skills. We will be playing lots of practice games this year so kids can all have the opportunities to play matches i a controlled and safe environment.
Big thanks to both parents and kids involved as this is what we are trying to promote to get kids active irrespective of the weather. We will only change the venue to Indoors Sports Hall of the Forest School in case of extreme bad weather so parents do note this change.
