On Saturday the 17th of September, We were invited by Watford FC to participate in a football festival with their Academy. Thanks to parents for bringing their kids to the Harefield training ground on a Saturday morning. Kids were excited about the festival and Dressed up in all white kit.
The football festival started around 11.00am with our fun warm up to get the kids going and finished 12.30pm. The pitch was divided into sections of two 4V4 pitches and a 6V6 pitch. It was really good to all our boys participated without fear with our 4 year olds played against their 7s. It shows the level of progression they have made, The team comprised of 13 players of different age groups from 4 – 7 year olds. This shows the standard of our kids for having the confidence to showcase football skills they have been learning for the past few months.
Following the fanstatic performances by our boys in a friendly environment, One of our 7s has been invited by Watford FC to join their Academy. More tournaments will be played over the course of the academic year as this will aid their develop. Our next friendly will be confirmed in October before Soccer School starts.
We would like to thank Watford FC Academy for inviting us as it was a great eperience for the kids and Learning as well.
